About CE fine art jewelry

CE is inspired by ancient Mediterranean culture and design. What aesthetics were present when western civilization developed? This is what I wanted to discover and in turn recreate with CE. Implement into my design for this line of jewelry.

 

I have always loved and appreciated design. The fine details and subtle nuances in everything we see effects us physically and emotionally.

 

My mother’s diamond engagement ring was passed down from my father’s grandmother. Its unique and elegant design is striking and shows the craftsmanship of a bygone era. When I looked at my moms ring, I always hoped I could give a beautiful ring to my fiancé some day. With my appreciation for design and artistic labor, I began crafting a line of jewelry to test myself and prepare for the hope I held in the future. I studied the history of jewelry craft and art of adornment. 

 

It is with this passion that I’ve decided to open my creativity to the world. Every piece I create touches my hands and comes form my heart. Because so much time and attention goes into every piece, we only offer completely solid precious metal for each piece. The backings of earrings, the clasps on our chains, and the solder that binds them are solid gold, platinum, or silver to maintain the purity and quality (clasps include spring steel internally to actuate the mechanism properly.)
